With the increasing complexity of web application user interfaces a continously higher demand is put on devices to render the UI without impairing user experience. Concurrent rendering in React has been introduced to alleviate this problem. Most notably it allows components to be rendered in the background without modifying the DOM, ensuring an always consistent UI rendered concurrently, based on priority, ensuring better responsiveness and improving prerendering in the background This session will take you through the details of this new feature, explaining how time slicing, lazy loading and Suspense are used to achieve the key imrpovements that are promised.
